I’m working. So my creativity may be on the low side. But I wanted to offer a couple of links worth your time.
I want to say thanks to the good people at Active Response Training, who were kind enough to link to my post on “The Strategic Danger of our Situation,” in their Weekend Knowledge Dump.

Far more than a compendium of outstanding firearms knowledge, Greg Ellifritz and the others at Active Response Training help prepare us to be safer in a dangerous world. And often, focus on how to avoid danger rather than face it. Great stuff and I’m always honored to be linked there. (I took a handgun class from these folks many years ago and it was outstanding.)
This link is to one of my favorite Substack writers, Elizabeth Nickson. She’s worth following for her fearless assessment of the times.
This was a very heart-wrenching podcast on trafficking. In particular, I was stricken by the vulnerability of Native American women. I can’t even fathom the degree of evil that lurks.

And on the lighter side, if you’re a knife person, and happen to be in Otto, NC, stop in at Old School Knife Works. Great retail shop, helpful and knowledgeable staff. But the cool thing for knife nerds is that these folks supply a lot of the handle material to Case Knives.

Have a great evening! And try to stay healthy. It’s really not a great time to be in the ER, or in the hospital in general.
