A Night Shift Prayer

For all of my hospital and EMS people

Heavenly Father, we embark upon the dark sea of the night.

Take the helm, and if there are those we must rescue from the waves, keep us strong, alert and bold.

And take us finally to the safe harbor of morning’s light.
