I hope you had a wonderful Holiday season. I certainly did. Jan and I were able to spend time with all of our children; a blessing indeed.
The new year being upon us, I’m thinking about the future. I’ve never been a huge fan of resolutions because I’m so prone to breaking them. But I have hopes and plans for the new year. And one of the things I’m hoping and planning for is this site.
So since you, dear readers, have been so diligent in following me and commenting, I want to ask you some questions.
What content do you like here? What would you like to see more of in the coming year? For instance:
I write a lot about healthcare.
I write about culture.
(I generally feel that there’s more than enough politics online so I tend to shy away from that endless mess.)
I write about my Christian faith.
I try to throw in a little humor.
I tentatively dabble in fiction.
I share some links when I find them important and insightful.
What would make you more likely to open a post? What things would you be more likely to share with others? Would you listen to a podcast if I started one?
I hope that 2023 is a year of significant growth for Life and Limb. I want you to be part of that.
Happy New Year and many blessings on all of you.
Sincerely,
Edwin
Ed: The best advice might just be to follow your heart and keep up the great writing. You write about the world you know with clarity, eloquence and passion. You seem to understand the human heart. You are true to your faith and never distort or pervert Christianity, and you remain wise to avoid taking sides in politics. Enjoy what you write and write what you enjoy, or what you feel needs to be said.
Dr. Leap you do a great job. I have been in Emergency Medicine as a PA and a Paramedic for the past 17 years and I can't tell you what an encouragement you are.
As we try to participate with God in bringing love, healing and redemption your writings and quips true ER Pearls that don't fall before swine.
Stay shiny and keep fighting the dragon!
