I just want to thank everyone who has subscribed to Life and Limb over the last couple of years. This has been one of the most delightful adventures of my now nearly 30 years of semi-professional writing. (I say semi in deference to those who support themselves wholly as writers which I do not do at this juncture…although hope springs eternal. Or as the SC State Motto says: ‘Dum Spiro Spero.’ ‘While I breathe I hope.’)
The big news is that today we hit 1401 subscribers! And 48 of you have been extra gracious by purchasing a paid subscription to support my writing efforts.
I am humbled and grateful. I promise to keep putting out interesting, relevant and hopefully entertaining material.
I have a lot of ideas on my writing ‘to do’ list.
If there are things you’d like to see me cover, or ideas you’d like to discuss, please let me know.
Talk to you soon. Have a great weekend!
Edwin
I’ve recommended your Substack to my rotating FP residents; my friends from WV; and a traveling nurse doing ER work in WV. I’m just a dermatologist but I learn a lot from every post! Keep it up!
Is your book The Practice Test available? I would like to purchase it. Please let me know.
