I have a question for my early subscribers. My newsletter needs a name other than mine. For years I’ve written a column called Life in Emergistan, for Emergency Medicine News. I write a column called Wholly Healthy for the SC Baptist Courier. I need something catchy. (I used to call that column ‘Cross and Caduceus’ in that I tried to cover the intersection of faith and medicine.)
I used to write for a great rural magazine called ‘The Daily Yonder,’ and I called my column Life and Limb. I thought that was sufficiently general since I cover more than medicine. I’m leaning towards that. Life and Limb, by Edwin Leap, MD.
Thoughts or suggestions? I want you, the reader, to give me your input. If you suggest a name that I use instead of one of these, I’ll send you a copy of my first self-published book, ‘Working Knights,’ and a Republic of Emergistan pin.
Thanks in advance!
Thank you all for the great suggestions! I've decided to go with my original thought, which was Life and Limb. However, those of you who suggested names please send me your physical address at edwinleap@gmail.com and I'll send you an Emergistan pin!
