Just another faithfully true article that touches on the things we can find help with in church, prayer 🙏, friends, support groups & therapy! Thanks once again for pointing out all the physical manifestations chest pain can imitate for people. Great story!

Just had one the other night. Chest pain off an on last 2 years.

Your ecg is fine, go back to your cell. ( I work in a prison)

Off topic, had an inmate with an “exploded taste bud” recently. Anybody had that one yet.

Wow. Each of my ED rooms are filled with those complaining of abdominal pain and suicidal thoughts. Only 5% of those presenting with chest pain are actually having a true cardiac emergency. What has amazed me most recently is how many of these "no big deal, now risk presenting" patients with chest pain who have normal ECG's but a marked elevation in their troponin (a heart injury marker) that in the "old days" would have been quickly released from the ED. May be this is why we are "practicing" medicine rather than "doing" medicine. Another excellent article; thanks.
