I’ve always wanted to be part of a medical mission, maybe to Africa or South America. Traveling is always at the top of my list - there are just so many places to see!
Victoria, that sounds like a wonderful thing to do! I know that there are many great organizations engaged in medical missions. My wife has done domestic trips with Samaritan's Purse, which also has overseas missions. I hope you find a great one!
Victoria, a medical mission trip sounds like a wonderful way to use your time. Lots of organizations doing them and doing them well! I was reading about the Mercy Ships recently and the work they do providing surgical care. My wife has done domestic trips with Samaritan's Purse, and I think they do great work. I hope you get to do someday!

Ed you should read “A Sand County Almanac” by Aldo Leopold. It may help you in chronicling the seasons of your country home.
Andrew, thank you for the suggestion. I'll look into that! Have a great day!
