My thoughts exactly, as per my latest post:

https://open.substack.com/pub/rickgibson/p/myth-your-blood-pressure-is-a-knowable?r=udsb1&utm_medium=ios

The thing is:

- the BP you measure with a cuff isn’t the actual pressure inside your arteries (there’s a lot of error, which varies from one person to the next, one reading to the next, etc.)

- there’s a heck of a lot of variation in your BP from one beat to the next, one minute to the next, one hour to the next, etc.

- most BP device# have never been validated, so you have no assurance that they telling the truth

- your BP in and of itself doesn’t reflect anything about your well-being, it’s simply a supposed “risk factor” for future events, but there’s no guarantee that your risk will translate to reality, and everything we know about the risk is predicated on crappy data about BP readings (garbage in, garbage out)

So, yes, throw out the BP monitor and focus on something else, like enjoying life!

I like my pressure cuff. Don’t obsess over it. I track my bpm as part of my afib maintenance. Again, no obsessing. Having these metrics has kept me OUT of ERs more than put me in ERs as I sometimes think I’m going into a bad spell of afib and discover that I’m in normal sinus rhythm (I’ve only had 3 afib episodes in 8 years). But I agree with your point. Not long ago, I wondered when people started weighing themselves. Until the end of the 19th century, most people didn’t know what they weighed. Just as people didn’t know and didn’t care about their oxygen levels till cheap oximeters came along, it just wasn’t practical to weigh yourself and there was no obvious reason to do so. In 1922, Chicago installed a scale in the lobby of City Hall, and it became a big novelty for people to come in and weigh themselves. https://www.bunkhistory.org/resources/the-completely-bonkers-history-of-the-bathroom-scale

Wow….duch good advice. ! My DR is on my case because I won’t do BP checks and stab myself every few hours to measure glucose!

I’m aware if more anxiety when I read or watch news! And worse yet I now get alerts on my phone all day every day about air quality!!!

It’s suddenly horrible to breathe between 9am and 5 pm? It’s every day constantly warning me!!

My question is?

What’s the threat and WHO is creating the horrible air quality?

If it’s chemtrailing that is spreading deadly chemicals into the air, who is responsible and why don’t they stop? Are they going to spread S5N1 in the air?

Someone wants us all dead?
