If more people spoke truth instead of political posturing, it could change the conversation across the country. You have spoken truth, and done it quite well.
I am sensing painful, linguistic restraint, anguish, anger, and animosity in your recent writings. How can someone think/feel/express polar opposite viewpoints from those that are imbedded in one’s soul. How can someone see black when it is so obviously white? Should leadership revolve around a vengeful orthodoxy or be centered on enhancing humanity? I just finished reading Stolen Pride to better understand the concept of pride and shame amongst those living in Appalachia and why they feel that Trump, who has no understanding of their plight, is their redeemer. My work in the ED is spent caring for the poor, the chronically ill, the lost, and the wanderers. Why are they without a redeemer? Why is their plight now un-American? I too am struggling. Thanks for starting the conversation.
I suspect that, in that case, President Harris would not have subjected the bishop to the same ridicule that President Trump did.

God thoughts and good questions.
All three versions have merit, but I do like yours best.
Thank you. Absolutely perfect and beautifully written.
Well said Dr. Leap. Well said.
