I was a combat Infantryman, a paratrooper, and a sniper. What you see on the big (or little screen) does NOT transfer to real life. I am currently an Emergency Department RN with 33 years ER experience. Trust me, WALK AWAY - or run away - from violence. If you don't, I wall eventually take you to the morgue on a cold stretcher.
Absolutely sir! Run if you can. Or be alert enough to give yourself time to walk away; or not be there in the first place. One more reason I never wear any headphones when I’m in public.
We live on a fragile bridge twist life and death, one moment here, the next no breath.
Thanks for this realistic perspective on violence. I love your recommendation about “avoiding large gatherings of angry people.”
Thank you! I’ve met enough of them, and they’re just too unpredictable.

"I will," not "I wall." No editor here!
