Both of our daughters moved to Charlotte after college. We waited for about 10 yrs for them to return to Walhalla. We finally realized that wasn't going to happen. When our first grandchild was born in August, we decided to make the move to be near them. David and I retired and have been in Charlotte since February. Its wonderful to be near our family, I've had to accept that they are adults and don't need my advice on the dangers of the big city. They tell me to stop watching the news. 🙄
